It is a beautiful piece of Bastogne walnut. It measures 36 1/2 inches long and it’s width is between 22 1/2 and 24 1/2 inches.  On the top side of the board, it is carved, and on one side, there is an inclusion that I filled with lapis mineral. On the outside, long edges, I kept them natural and burned the edges to accentuate the natural inclusions and cracks. On the other side, it is more simple to show the beauty and character of the woodgrain itself.  There is slight carving on the edges just for some interesting effect.
